Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s MSK family of motors are versatile devices with a wide range of applications. They are used as rotary main and servo drive motors and are components of the future-proof Rexroth IndraDrive drive system. Their typical applications are metal-forming machines, printing and paper-processing machines, robotics, and packaging and food processing machines.
The MSK101E-0200-FN-S3-AG0-NNAN is one of the synchronous servo motors in Bosch Rexroth’s MSK series. It has a nominal speed of 2,000 revolutions per minute and a rotor with a moment of inertia of 0.01380kgm2. Its integrated encoder is a single-turn encoder with the Hiperface interface, which uses the optical measuring principle to detect and control the motor’s speed and position. The encoder also has a data memory where essential parameters like the motor type name and control loop parameters are stored. This ensures the motor’s safe adaptation to its drive controller and its rapid bootup. With the KTY84 thermal sensor in its windings, it is protected from damage caused by thermal overload.
There are four pole pairs in the MSK101E-0200-FN-S3-AG0-NNAN. It also features a plain shaft with a shaft sealing ring to ensure a non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero backlash and minimal noise. This MDD model is cooled via liquid cooling using a coolant like water, making it suitable for applications with extreme loads such as continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates. The coolant is released via a downstream heat exchanger to the ambient air. According to EN 60529, the Ingress Protection rating of the motor is IP 65, indicating that it is dust-proof and touch-proof. As a result, it can be safely used in poor environmental conditions without the risk of damage.
