Product Description
Bosch Rexroth sets new standards in the global drive industry with its products, one of which is the MSK family of synchronous motors. These motors are compact and are characterized by high torque density, dynamics, and high precision. They are designed to be used as rotary main and servo drive motors. Their fields of application include machine tools, printing and paper processing machines, food and packaging machines, metal forming machines, and robotics.
The MSK101E-0200-FN-S2-AP2-RNNN is an MSK motor equipped with an optical encoder with the single-turn configuration and the EnDat 2.1 interface. This encoder has a system accuracy of ±20 angular seconds and a data memory that ensures the motor’s quick and easy startup since it stores parameters like the motor type name and control loop parameters. The motor has a shaft with a keyway and radial shaft sealing ring that prevents fluids from entering the shaft. It is fitted with an electrically-released holding brake that holds the motor axis when the machine is de-energized.
With its compact size, the MSK101E-0200-FN-S2-AP2-RNNN can easily be mounted into a control cabinet. Its temperature is monitored by the temperature sensor and a temperature model, two independent systems that protect the motor from damage by thermal overload. This MSK model is liquid-cooled; hence, it is suitable for extreme loads like continuous start-stop operations. Its degree of protection is IP 65 according to DIN EN 60529, meaning it is protected against contact, dust, and water directed against it from different directions. It should be operated at a maximum ambient temperature of 40°C and relative humidity of 5% to 95%. Its ideal maximum installation height is 1,000m above mean sea level.
