Product Description
One of the families of servo motors in Bosch Rexroth’s IndraDyn S family is the MSK series. The motors in these series are notable for their compact construction, high torque density, and precise encoder systems. They are typically used in machine tools and robotics.
The MSK101E-0200-FN-S1-AP0-NNNN is a model of the MSK synchronous motors. It features a single-turn absolute encoder with a data memory that stores its parameters. This data memory ensures the quick and hitch-free startup of the motor and reduces the risk of damage during its adaptation to the drive controller. The encoder detects the motor’s absolute, indirect position within one mechanical rotation and has a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds. This MSK motor has four pole pairs and can generate a maximum torque of 231.0Nm. Its designated cooling method is liquid cooling, making it suitable for extreme loads like continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates. The cooling method dissipates heat by transferring it to a coolant which is released via a downstream heat exchanger to the ambient air.
Operating the MSK101E-0200-FN-S1-AP0-NNNN requires a maximum current of 67.1A. Its sealed housing has an IP 65 rating per EN 60529, indicating that it is dust-proof and touch-proof. It is also safe from water jet sprays; hence, it can be used in harsh industrial environments. The motor’s output shaft is one with a keyway according to DIN 6885 and a shaft sealing ring designed in line with DIN 3760 - Design A. It is equipped with two independently operated temperature monitoring systems to protect it from permanent damage caused by thermal overload. One of these is a KTY84 thermal sensor in its windings.
