Product Description
Innovation is one of the hallmarks of the Bosch Rexroth brand, as seen in the futuristic design of its drive and motion control units. Its MSK motors are a group of synchronous servo motors in the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system. They are commonly used as rotary main and servo drive motors.
The MSK101E-0200-FN-S1-AG3-NNNN is a model of Bosch Rexroth’s synchronous MSK servo motors. It generates a maximum torque of 231.0Nm and operates at a nominal speed of 2,000 revolutions per minute. Its single-turn absolute encoder detects the absolute, indirect position of the motor within one mechanical motor rotation and eliminates the need for separate incremental encoders. The motor has four pole pairs and a plain output shaft that allows a non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero-backlash. Machine elements to be driven can be coupled using clamping sets, clamping sleeves, or clamping elements. Its holding brake works with the principle of electrical release and has a holding torque of 120Nm.
Liquid cooling is the heat elimination method supported by the MSK101E-0200-FN-S1-AG3-NNNN. It uses a duct system to conduct the coolant via a downstream heat exchanger to the ambient air. This cooling method also makes the motor suitable for extreme loads like continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates. Its housing coat is a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water. This varnish is resistant to diluted acids/alkaline solutions, current mineral oils, sewage, and seawater. It also displays limited resistance to hydraulic oil and organic solvents. The Ingress Protection rating of the housing is IP 65 according to EN 60529, meaning that solid extrinsic materials cannot penetrate it to cause damage.
