Product Description
One of the most innovative drive systems created by Bosch Rexroth is the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system. It is composed of state-of-the-art units like the MSK servo motors with high torque density. These servo motors are designed to be used as rotary main and servo drive motors.
The MSK101E-0200-FN-S1-AG2-NNNN is one of the compact synchronous servo motors in Bosch Rexroth’s MSK family. It uses the mechanism of liquid cooling for heat elimination with coolants like water. This coolant is conducted via a duct and released via a downstream heat exchanger to the ambient air. The cooling method also supports applications with extreme loads. Position detection in this MSK motor is via an optical encoder with the single-turn configuration. It has a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds and a data memory that promotes the motor’s rapid startup and safe adjustment to its drive controller. This is because relevant parameters like the motor type name and control loop parameters are stored, reducing the bootup time.
Because of its sealed housing, the MSK101E-0200-FN-S1-AG2-NNNN belongs to the IP 65 protection category per EN 60529. This means that it will not admit solid extrinsic objects like conductive dust or sprays from water jets. It has a thermal sensor of the KTY84 type in its windings to monitor its temperature and protect it from damage by thermal overload. The sensor works with the temperature model, an independently operated temperature monitoring system to protect the motor. It also has an electrically released holding brake of 70Nm holding torque and a plain output shaft with a shaft sealing ring. Its nominal speed is 2,000 revolutions per minute, while its maximum torque is 231.0Nm.
