Product Description
Designed to be used as rotary main and servo drive motors, the MSK servo motors by Bosch Rexroth are suitable for numerous applications. They are future-proof servo motors with a compact construction and high torque density built for highly dynamic operations. They are used in metal-forming machines, packaging and food processing machines, and robotics.
The MSK101E-0200-FN-S1-AG0-NNNN is a powerful synchronous servo motor in the MSK family by Bosch Rexroth. It has four pole pairs and a nominal speed of 2,000 revolutions per minute. Its sealed housing has an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65, meaning it is safe from dust ingress and penetration by water jet sprays. This housing is coated with a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water. The varnish is resistant to dilute acid/alkaline solutions, seawater, sewage, and current mineral oils. Heat dissipation in this MSK model is via liquid cooling, where a coolant like water is released via a downstream heat exchanger into the ambient air.
A KTY84 thermal sensor in the windings of the MSK101E-0200-FN-S1-AG0-NNNN prevents permanent damage by thermal overload. It works with an independently-operated system called the temperature model to perform this protective function. The MSK motor’s encoder is a singleturn absolute encoder of ±80 angular seconds system accuracy. Its measurement option is the highly precise optical method, and it records the absolute, indirect position within one mechanical motor rotation. To provide a non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero-backlash, the motor is equipped with a plain output shaft. The shaft ensures minimal noise generation during its operation and allows clamping sets, sleeves, or clamping elements to be used in coupling the machine.
