Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s MSK synchronous motors revolutionized the motion and logic industry. They have different powers and interfaces for their highly varied application-specific use. Their characteristics include high dynamics, compact construction, and high torque density. They are also equipped with new optical encoder systems; hence, they display incredibly high degrees of precision. Their areas of application include machine tools, printing and paper processing machines, food processing and packaging machines, metal forming machines, and robotics.
The MSK101E-0200-FN-M3-AG0-NNNN is equipped with an optical multiturn absolute encoder with the Hiperface interface that controls the motor’s speed and position. This encoder replaces separate incremental encoders. It has a data memory that preserves the information obtained even after the machine is switched off. It also stores the motor name, control loop parameters, and other parameters. The output shaft of this motor is a plain type with a shaft sealing ring. This shaft type allows a non-positive shaft hub connection with zero backlash. The motor also has four pole pairs and can generate a maximum torque of 231.0Nm, with a maximum speed of 3,500 rpm.
Temperature monitoring in the MSK101E-0200-FN-M3-AG0-NNNN is via two systems that function independently, the temperature sensor and the temperature model. They ensure that the motor is protected against irreversible damage by thermal overload. This motor is liquid cooled with heat lost via a coolant with a downstream heat exchanger into the ambient air. The recommended environmental conditions for the motor’s optimal function are a maximum ambient temperature of 40°C and relative humidity of 95%. Its degree of protection is IP 65; hence it is protected against damage from shock, penetration of dust, and water jets from different directions.
