Product Description
Bosch Rexroth manufactures several well-suited products for applications across different niches in the global motion industry. The MSK synchronous motors by the company are designed to be used as rotary main and servo drive motors. They are characterized by a high torque density and wide power spectrum, and they come in a compact package. They are used in handling systems, machine tools, robotics, printing and paper processing machines, and metal-forming machines.
The MSK101E-0200-FN-M2-AG3-RNNN is a model of the MSK motors by Bosch Rexroth. It is fitted with an integrated optical encoder, the multi-turn absolute encoder with the EnDat 2.1 interface. This precise encoder permits absolute, indirect position recording within 4,096 mechanical rotations and has a system accuracy of ±20 angular seconds. It also has a data memory where the motor's parameters are stored, ensuring its quick startup. There are four pole pairs in this motor, and it functions with a maximum speed of 3,500 rpm. It is equipped with a plain output shaft with a shaft sealing ring designed per DIN 3760 – design A. This plain shaft provides a negative, zero-backlash shaft-hub connection with quiet running.
There is an electrically released holding brake in the MSK101E-0200-FN-M2-AG3-RNNN. It holds the motor axes at a standstill when the motor is disconnected from power, protecting its users. This motor is liquid-cooled with heat dissipation occurring over the coolant, which is released via a downstream heat exchanger to the ambient air. Due to its cooling method, this motor is suitable for continuous start-stop operations with high repetitive frequency. It is designed with increased concentricity and tolerates shaft extension runout and axial runout according to DIN 42955.
