Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s MSK synchronous motors are powerful servo motors designed for high-power use. These motors are durable and can be combined with IndraDrive control units to create high-performance drive systems with flexible configurations. Their functions are attributed to unique characteristics such as a wide power spectrum, high torque density, and narrow size increments. They are used in several fields, including handling systems, machine tools, robotics, printing and paper processing machines, and metal-forming machines.
A multiturn absolute encoder with the Hiperface interface is the encoder system of the MSK101E-0200-FN-M1-RG3-NNNN. This optical encoder has a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds and permits the absolute, indirect position recording within 4,096 mechanical motor rotations. Two independent systems monitor this MSK motor's temperature; the temperature sensor, which is built into the stator, and the temperature model. They ensure that the motor is safe from irreversible damage by thermal overload. This motor is liquid-cooled as it uses a heat dissipation mechanism where cooling occurs over a coolant. As a result, it supports extreme loads.
The MSK101E-0200-FN-M1-RG3-NNNN is equipped with a plain output shaft with a shaft sealing ring that allows the motor to run quietly with a non-positive, zero-backlash shaft-hub connection. Its sealing ring is designed per DIN 3760 - design A. The motor is equipped with an electrically released holding brake with a torque of 120Nm to hold the axes at a standstill when the motor is in a de-energized state. Its housing varnish is black RAL 9005 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water. This coating is resistant to dilute acids, sewage, and current mineral oils with limited protection against hydraulic oils and organic solvents.
