Product Description
Servo motors, drive controllers, and converters are some of the components of the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system by Bosch Rexroth. The MSK servo motors are a group of motors in the IndraDyn S family of this system. They are commonly used in robotics, metal-forming machines, and handling systems.
The MSK101D-0300-NN-S2-BP0-RNNN is a model of the self-cooling synchronous motors in Bosch Rexroth’s MSK series. It has a nominal speed of 3,000 revolutions per minute and can attain a maximum speed of 4,600 revolutions per minute. It has four pole pairs and employs natural convection for heat dissipation. In this cooling method, the heat generated during the motor’s operation is exchanged with the ambient air. Heat is also transferred from the motor to the walls of the machine construction. To prevent excessive heat from damaging this motor, it is equipped with a thermal sensor of the KTY84 type. It works with the temperature model, an independently operating system that protects the motor from thermal overload.
A single-turn optical encoder with the EnDat 2.1 interface detects the absolute, indirect position of the MSK101D-0300-NN-S2-BP0-RNNN within one mechanical motor rotation. It replaces separate incremental encoders with this motor and has a system accuracy of ±20 angular seconds. The encoder also has a data memory for storing the motor type name and control loop parameters. It ensures the time-saving commissioning of the motor since its parameters are set once it is powered. Damage is also prevented because it adapts smoothly to its drive controller. The Ingress Protection rating of this MSK motor according to EN 60529 is IP 65. Hence, it is dust-proof, touch-proof, and impervious to sprays from water jets.
