Product Description
Bosch Rexroth is the designer of the highly versatile MSK series of servo motors. They are components of the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system and are used as rotary and servo main motors. Their typical applications include metal-forming machines, robotics, printing and paper processing machines, machine tools, and packaging and food processing machines.
The MSK101D-0300-NN-S2-BG2-RNNN is a servo motor in the MSK series by Bosch Rexroth. It is a self-cooling synchronous motor equipped with a thermal sensor of the KTY84 type in its windings. This sensor works with the temperature model, an independently operating system, to prevent the motor from being damaged by thermal overload. Using natural convection, heat is also efficiently dissipated from the motor. Its nominal speed is 3,000 revolutions per minute, and this can increase up to a maximum of 4,600 revolutions per minute. It generates a maximum torque of 160.0 Nm and has a rotor with a moment of inertia of 0.00932 kgm2. The integrated encoder of this MSK model is a single-turn optical encoder with the EnDat 2.1 interface.
There are four pole pairs in the MSK101D-0300-NN-S2-BG2-RNNN. With its holding brake, the servo axis is held at a standstill when the machine is de-energized. This holding brake has a holding torque of 70Nm and works with the principle of electrical release. A non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero backlash is guaranteed in this motor, thanks to its plain output shaft. It also promotes the noiseless operation of the motor and has a shaft sealing ring to prevent liquids from entering the motor through the shaft. The shaft sealing ring is designed in line with DIN 3760 – Design A.
