Product Description
All components of the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system by Bosch Rexroth are designed with state-of-the-art technology to enhance functionality. The MSK servo motors in this system are no exception. They are used as rotary and servo main motors in applications such as machine tools, printing and paper processing machines, food packaging and processing machines, metal-forming machines, and robotics.
The MSK101D-0300-NN-S2-BG0-RNNN is a model of the synchronous servo motors in the MSK group designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It features an encoder with a single-turn configuration and a system accuracy of ±20 angular seconds. This encoder utilizes the optical measurement method for position detection and records the absolute, indirect position of the motor within one mechanical motor rotation. It has a data memory in which vital information, including the motor type name and control loop parameters, is stored. Because of this, the motor’s boot-up is rapid, and it can adjust to its drive controller with minimal risks of damage. Since the motor is touch-proof and dust-proof, it has an IP 65 Ingress Protection rating. This also means that sprays from water jets cannot penetrate it.
Two independent systems protect the MSK101D-0300-NN-S2-BG0-RNNN from irreversible damage due to thermal overload: the temperature sensor and temperature model. The temperature sensor is the KTY84 type and is built into the motor windings. Heat dissipation in this MDD model is achieved via natural convection, where heat is transferred to the ambient air. It is equipped with a plain output shaft to ensure a non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero-backlash and reduce the noise generated during the machine’s operation. This shaft comes with a shaft sealing ring designed according to DIN 3760 – Design A.
