Product Description
Synchronous motors are key components of a wide range of factory automation solutions, including the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system. The MSK motors in this drive system are a group of synchronous motors distinguished by their compact build and precise encoder systems. They belong to the IndraDyn S family of motors by Bosch Rexroth.
The MSK101D-0300-NN-S2-AG2-RNNN is an MSK model with a single-turn encoder. This encoder has the EnDat 2.1 interface and works with the optical measurement method to determine the motor’s absolute, indirect position within one mechanical motor rotation. Its system accuracy is ±20 angular seconds, and it is a suitable replacement for separate incremental encoders. This MSK motor has a nominal speed of 3,000 revolutions per minute, but it can reach a maximum of 4,600 revolutions per minute. It has four pole pairs and a rotor whose moment of inertia is 0.00932 kgm2. The motor's bearings have a lifetime of 30,000 operating hours as long as it is operated within limits specified for radial and axial loads.
As a self-cooling motor, the MSK101D-0300-NN-S2-AG2-RNNN eliminates heat via natural convection. In this cooling mechanism, the heat generated during the motor’s operation is transferred to the ambient air and the machine by conduction. The output shaft of this model is a plain type with a shaft sealing ring. It provides a non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero backlash and ensures the noiseless operation of the motor. A temperature sensor of the KTY84 type is built into the stator of the motor to monitor and control its temperature. With this sensor, users are alerted of threshold temperature values which may cause damage to the motor.
