Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s MSK motors in the IndraDyn S family are synchronous servo motors designed with a compact construction and high torque density. They are state-of-the-art devices combining past automation designs with modern technology. The MSK motors are used as linear drives or kit motors in machine tools, metal-forming machine tools, packaging and foodstuff machines, and printing and paper processing machines.
The MSK101D-0300-NN-S1-RG0-NNNN is an MSK motor with a frame size 101 and motor length D. It exhibits a maximum speed of 4,600 revolutions per minute and a maximum torque of 160 Nm. Also, it is equipped with a plain shaft with a shaft sealing ring resistant to damage by oil and chemicals. This motor is a self-cooling model; thus, heat generated during its operations is dissipated via natural convection. At a temperature of 20°C, its voltage constant and torque constant are 113V/min⁻¹ and 1.80 Nm/A, respectively. It features a single-turn optical encoder with the Hiperface interface and a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds. This motor encoder detects the absolute indirect position of the motor's rotor within one mechanical rotation.
Like other MSK101 motors, the noise level generated by the MSK101D-0300-NN-S1-RG0-NNNN is less than 75 decibels. The motor is also polished with a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water. Its integrated temperature sensor and the temperature model work independently as motor temperature monitoring systems to prevent damage by thermal overloading. This MSK motor is best operated within an ambient temperature range of 0°C to 40°C. It can also be installed in any desired position, and its maximum permissible installation height is 1000m above sea level.
