Product Description
Bosch Rexroth has an extensive range of products used for different industrial applications, including high-speed motors like the IndraDyn S motors. The MSK synchronous servo motors belong to the IndraDyn S family. They are characterized by a wide power spectrum, narrow size increments, and a high torque density. They can be combined with IndraDrive control units to create high-performance drive systems with flexible configurations. Their typical applications include handling systems, robotics, printing and paper processing machines, and metal-forming machines.
The MSK101D-0300-NN-S1-LP0-NNNN is equipped with a single-turn encoder with the Hiperface interface. This encoder has 128 signal periods and permits the evaluation of the motor’s absolute, indirect position within one mechanical motor rotation. It also uses the optical measurement method and has a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds. This motor is self-cooling with heat dissipation achieved via natural convection to the ambient air and by heat conduction into the machine structure. It is equipped with a holding brake that holds the motor axis when the machine is in a de-energized state. There are four pole pairs in this model, and it has a maximum speed of 4,600 rpm.
A shaft with a keyway conforming to DIN 6885-1 and a shaft sealing ring are present in the MSK101D-0300-NN-S1-LP0-NNNN. The motor's housing varnish is black RAL 9005 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water. It is resistant to dilute acids, sewage, and current mineral oils. This coating offers limited protection against hydraulic oils and organic solvents. The MSK motor has a protection class of IP 65, which means that it is completely protected against shock, dust penetration, and damage by sprays from water jets.
