Product Description
The MSK101D-0300-NN-S1-BP2-NNNN is a digital servo motor. Bosch has developed the motor for high-precision industrial applications. The motor includes several cutting-edge features such as a holding brake and an integrated encoder. The motor encoder is a singleturn absolute encoder that supports Hiperface. The encoder system accuracy is ±120 angular seconds. Maximum speed rating of the motor encoder is 12000 RPM. The maximum current consumption is 60 milliamps and the supply voltage range is 7 to 12 Volts. The holding brake on the MSK101D-0300-NN-S1-BP2-NNNN motors works according to the principle of electrical release. The brake releases the shaft after application of a 24 Volts DC signal. Current draw of the holding brake is 1.29 Amps. The maximum disconnection time for the brake is 53 milliseconds and the maximum disconnection time is 97 milliseconds.
The cooling method employed for heat dissipation is natural convection. Motor performance specifications listed in the product documentation are valid for 0 to 40 degrees Celsius and 0 to 1000 meters. For 60K overtemperature, the continuous torque is 50 Nm and the continuous current is 30.6 Amps. For 100K overtemperature, the continuous torque is 57 Nm and the continuous current is 34.9 Amps. For higher load conditions, another cooling method i.e. surface cooling becomes a feasible option. With surface cooling, the continuous torque is 75 Nm and the continuous current is 45.9 Amps. The power cable connects to a power socket on side B of the motor. The motor shaft includes a keyway as per DIN 6885-1. The motor shaft also includes a sealing ring. Housing design of the motor is standard. The combined weight of the motor and the holding brake is 43.8 kilograms.
