The Bosch MSK101D-0300-NN-S1-AP2-NNNN is an industrial servo motor. It belongs to the MSK series of synchronous servo motors. Servo motors form one component of servo systems that also include a servo drive controller. The term “servo” indicates that the servo system operates based on feedback. A motor sensor measures shaft speed and torque. The motor transmits these measurements to the controller. A microprocessor on the controller compares motor parameter measurements with programmed (desired) values. Depending on the difference between actual and desired values, the controller modulates its output. The controller also provides electrical power for the motor.
