Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s attention to detail is one reason for the high quality of its numerous products. The MSK servo motors by the company are compact and flexible units that are suitable for applications beyond the standard for servo motors.
The MSK101D-0300-FN-S2-AG0-RNNN is a synchronous servo motor designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth in the MSK series. It can attain a maximum torque of 160.0Nm and a maximum speed of 4,600 revolutions per minute. Because of its liquid cooling mechanism, it is suitable for extreme loads like continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates. It can also be operated maintenance-free and has a bearing lifetime of 30,000 operating hours. The integrated encoder in this model is a single-turn encoder with the EnDat 2.1 interface, which works with the optical measurement method. Its system accuracy is ±20 angular seconds, eliminating the need for a separate incremental encoder.
A varnish that consists of a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water is used to coat the MSK101D-0300-FN-S2-AG0-RNNN. The varnish displays high-level resistance to seawater, sewage, and current mineral oils with limited resistance to hydraulic oils and organic solvents. This MSK model is equipped with a rotor whose moment of inertia is 0.00932 kgm2, and it has four pole pairs. Its output shaft is the plain type with a shaft sealing ring, and in line with DIN 42955, it has reduced shaft run-out and axial run-out. Thanks to the KTY 84 thermal sensor in its winding, irreversible damage by thermal overload can be averted. Another independently operated system called the temperature model works with this sensor to ensure this.
