Product Description
Designing high-performance servo motors like those in the MSK series requires a level of experience, which Bosch Rexroth has garnered. The motors are components of the IndraDyn S family in the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system with applications in machine tools, metal forming machines, and robotics.
The MSK101D-0300-FN-S1-BP0-NNNN is one of the compact synchronous motors in the MSK series by Bosch Rexroth. It features an output shaft with a keyway per DIN 6885 for form-fitting torque transmission and a shaft sealing ring designed in line with DIN 3760 – design A. Its maximum speed is 4,600 revolutions per minute, while its maximum attainable torque is 160.0Nm. Using the optical measurement method, its single-turn encoder determines its absolute, indirect position within one mechanical motor rotation and eliminates the need for separate encoders. The encoder is equipped with the Hiperface interface and has a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds. Its data memory stores parameters like the motor type name and control loop parameters.
In the MSK101D-0300-FN-S1-BP0-NNNN, cooling takes place via a liquid coolant which absorbs heat and is released via a downstream heat exchanger to the ambient air. The motor is touch-proof, dust-proof, and impenetrable to water from multidirectional sprays; hence, its Ingress Protection rating per EN 60529 is IP 65. This also allows it to be operated in poor environmental conditions without the risk of damage. Its housing coat consists of a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water and is resistant to sewage, seawater, current mineral oils, and dilute acids and alkaline solutions. Thanks to its temperature monitoring systems, the MSK motor is protected from irreversible damage due to thermal overload.
