Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s MSK servo motors are compact components of the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system. They are a group of motors in the IndraDyn S family commonly used in metal forming machines, printing and paper processing machines, robotics, and machine tools.
The MSK101D-0300-FN-S1-BG0-NNNN is a model of the MSK synchronous motors designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It is a liquid-cooled motor with a KTY84 thermal sensor built into its winding to monitor its temperature. Its cooling system involves the use of a coolant like water, which absorbs the heat and is released to the ambient air via a downstream heat exchanger. Another temperature monitoring system in the motor is the temperature model, which is operated independently. Position detection and speed control in this MSK motor are done with an integrated single-turn encoder with the Hiperface interface. Its optical measuring method ensures that it carries this function out with high-level precision and its system accuracy is ±80 angular seconds.
Because of its touch-proof and dust-proof housing with an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65 per EN 60529, the MSK101D-0300-FN-S1-BG0-NNNN can be safely operated under poor environmental conditions. This housing’s coat consists of a black (RAL9005) 2K resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water. Hence, it is resistant to current mineral oils, dilute acids and alkaline solutions, sewage, and water. The motor’s output shaft is plain, providing a non-positive zero-backlash shaft-hub connection with minimal noise generation. It also has a shaft sealing ring designed according to DIN 3760 – design A. This MSK model’s maximum speed is 4,600 revolutions per minute, and it has four pole pairs. Its maximum permissible installation height is 1000m above sea level.
