Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s MSK motors are compact synchronous servo motors with high torque density and precise encoder systems used as rotary main and servo drive motors. They are a group of servo motors in the IndraDyn S series of the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system.
The MSK101D-0300-FN-S1-AG0-NNNN is a model of the MSK synchronous servo motors designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. Its plain shaft gives a non-positive, zero-backlash shaft-hub connection and promotes the motor’s noiseless operation. It also allows clamping sets, clamping sleeves, and clamping elements to be used in coupling the machine elements to be driven. This shaft comes with a shaft sealing ring designed per DIN 3760 – design A and is composed of materials highly resistant to oils and chemicals. The motor’s cooling method is liquid cooling, where a coolant like water absorbs the heat produced by the motor and is released via a downstream heat exchanger to the ambient air. This heat dissipation mechanism also makes it suitable for extreme loads like continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates.
A single-turn encoder with the Hiperface interface is the integrated encoder system of the MSK101D-0300-FN-S1-AG0-NNNN. It evaluates the motor’s absolute, indirect position within one mechanical motor rotation and replaces separate incremental encoders. With the KTY84 thermal sensor built into the winding of this servo motor, it is safe from damage by thermal overload. This sensor works with an independently operated temperature monitoring system called the temperature model. The motor’s Ingress Protection rating, according to EN 60529, is IP 65, indicating that it is touch-proof and dust-proof. Its maximum speed is 4,600 revolutions per minute, and it has a rotor with a moment of inertia of 0.00932 kgm2.
