Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s MSK synchronous motors series belong to the IndraDyn S servo motors family and they set a high standard for other synchronous motors. They are manufactured with a combination of long-term experience in the field and new technology, which makes them outstanding. Their characteristics include high dynamics, compact construction, high torque density, and a high degree of precision due to new optical encoder systems. They are designed to be used as rotary main and servo drive motors.
The MSK101D-0300-FN-M2-BG2-RNNN is a maintenance-free motor equipped with an integrated multiturn absolute encoder with the EnDat 2.1 interface. This allows the evaluation of the motor’s absolute, indirect position within 4,096 mechanical rotations. There is an inbuilt data memory for storing parameters like the motor type name, the control loop parameters, and the other parameters, ensuring a quick and easy startup. This encoder has a system accuracy of ±20 angular seconds. The degree of protection of this MSK model is IP 65; hence, it is protected against damage from shock, penetration of dust, and water jets from different directions.
With an electrically released holding brake, the MSK101D-0300-FN-M2-BG2-RNNN is held at a standstill when the motor is disconnected from power. This motor is painted black (RAL 9005) with a 2K epoxy coating resin that protects it from diluted acids or alkaline solutions, mineral oils, water, and sewage. This coating also offers limited protection against hydraulic oil and organic solvents. The operation of the motor should be at an ambient temperature range of 0°C and 40°C and a maximum relative humidity of 95%. It should be installed at a maximum height of 1000 m above mean sea level.
