Product Description
Servo motors like those in the MSK series of the IndraDyn S family improve the overall work efficiency in different kinds of applications. These motors are compact units with high torque density and precise encoder systems used in machine tools, robotics, etc.
The MSK101D-0300-FN-M1-AP2-NNNN is a Bosch Rexroth servo motor with a plain output shaft that provides a non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero backlash. Like other MSK motors, its shaft has a shaft sealing ring that prevents the entry of fluids into the motor. It is also designed in line with DIN 3760 – design A and contributes to the motor's IP 65 Ingress Protection rating per EN 60529. This protection rating indicates that it is dust-proof, touch-proof, and impermeable to water jet sprays. This servo motor is cooled by liquid cooling, an efficient heat dissipation mechanism where a coolant like water absorbs the heat and releases it via a downstream heat exchanger to the environment. Hence, it can be used for extreme loads like continuous stary-stop operations with high repetition rates.
An optical encoder with the multiturn configuration detects the absolute, indirect position of the MSK101D-0300-FN-M1-AP2-NNNN within 4,096 mechanical rotations. Its system accuracy is ±80 angular seconds, and it has a data memory where the motor type name and its control loop parameters are filed. The motor is equipped with an electrically released holding brake of 70Nm holding torque to hold the axes at a standstill and when disconnected from power. Its housing coat consists of a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water. It also has a KTY84 thermal sensor that protects it from irreversible damage due to thermal overload.
