Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s commitment to building future-proof products can be seen in its MSK synchronous servo motors. These unique drive units are characterized by high torque density and precise encoder systems. They are used as rotary main and servo drive motors in applications like machine tools, robotics, and metal forming machines.
The MSK101D-0202-NN-S3-FB0-NPNN is a model of the compact servo motors of the Bosch Rexroth MSK series. It features a single-turn encoder with the Hiperface interface for precise position determination. This encoder works with the optical measurement method to guarantee high-level precision. It also has a data memory where vital information like the motor type name and control loop parameters are stored for the motor’s rapid boot-up. An added function of this storage feature is that it ensures the risk-free adaptation of the motor to its drive controller. Based on the EN 60529 standard, this MSK model’s Ingress Protection rating is IP 65. This indicates that it is touch-proof, dust-proof, and impermeable to water jet sprays from different directions.
Heat removal from the MSK101D-0202-NN-S3-FB0-NPNN is via natural convection, where the heat is transferred to the ambient air. The motor’s temperature is monitored by the temperature sensor and the temperature model, two independently operated systems. Its temperature sensor is the KTY84 type, and it issues a warning at 140oC and initiates a shutdown at 150oC. Like other servo motors in the MSK series, this motor is coated with a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water. The varnish is highly resistant to dilute acids, alkaline solutions, sewage, seawater, and current mineral oils. It also displays a measure of resistance to hydraulic oils and organic solvents.
