Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s MSK synchronous motors are powerful, highly precise servo motors in the IndraDyn S family. They are characterized by a wide power spectrum, narrow size increments, a high torque density, and a high degree of precision due to new optical encoder systems. Their areas of application include machine tools, printing and paper processing machines, food and packaging machines, metal forming machines, and robotics.
The MSK101D-0202-NN-S1-AG0-NPNN is fitted with a plain shaft with a shaft sealing ring. This shaft type allows the motor to run quietly with a non-positive, zero-backlash shaft-hub connection. The MSK model has a high degree of thermal stability and a temperature monitoring system, comprising two independent systems - the temperature sensor, and the temperature model. Together, they prevent damage to the motor due to thermal overload. The designated mechanism for heat dissipation in this self-cooling motor is natural convection. It can also be operated maintenance-free.
For effective speed control and proper positioning by drive controllers, the MSK101D-0202-NN-S1-AG0-NPNN features an integrated optical encoder system. It is a single-turn encoder with a Hiperface interface and a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds. This allows absolute indirect position evaluation within one mechanical motor rotation. The integrated encoder unit has a data memory where the motor's parameters, like its type name, control loop parameters, and other parameters, are stored. Its Ingress Protection rating is IP 65 according to DIN EN 60529, indicating that it is dust-proof and protected against water directed against it from different directions. It should be operated at an ambient temperature of 40°C, relative air humidity of 95%, and set up at a maximum height of 1000m above sea level to get optimum performance.
