Product Description
Drive converters, power units, and servo motors are components of the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system by Bosch Rexroth. The MSK motors are a group of servo motors in this series designed as rotary main and servo drive motors. They are typically used in food processing and packaging machines, robotics, etc.
The MSK101D-0200-NN-S3-AG0-NNNN is a model of the maintenance-free synchronous servo motors in the MSK series. Its integrated encoder has a single-turn configuration, and it functions with the optical measurement method. This encoder features the Hiperface interface and eliminates the need for a separate incremental encoder with the motor. Like other MSK motors, this model is equipped with two temperature monitoring systems to protect it from irreversible damage due to thermal overload. These are the temperature model and the temperature sensor, which uses a KTY84 thermal sensor built into its stator. It is cooled via natural convection, a heat dissipation system where the heat generated during the motor’s operation is transferred to the ambient air due to temperature differences. Hence, the ideal ambient temperature range for its operation is 0oC to 40oC.
Thanks to its compact size, the MSK101D-0200-NN-S3-AG0-NNNN has a high torque density. It comes with a plain output shaft that ensures a non-positive, zero-backlash shaft-hub connection. This shaft also has a sealing ring designed in line with DIN 3760 – design A to prevent fluids from damaging the motor by penetrating through the shaft. According to EN 60529, the motor’s Ingress Protection rating is IP 65, indicating that it is dust-proof, touch-proof, and resistant to multidirectional water jet sprays. It is covered in a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water.
