Product Description
One of the most efficient drive systems developed by Bosch Rexroth is the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system. It is composed of drive converters, power units, and servo motors such as those in the MSK series. These synchronous servo motors are particularly notable for their high torque density.
The MSK101D-0200-NN-S2-BP0-RNNN is a model of the compact synchronous servo motors designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It is dust-proof, touch-proof, and safe from water jet sprays, as indicated by its IP 65 Ingress Protection rating according to EN 60529. This sealed design allows the motor to be operated under poor environmental conditions with minimal risks of damage. The housing is also resistant to alkaline solutions, dilute acids, seawater, and current mineral oils thanks to its varnish that consists of a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water. This varnish also displays resistance to hydraulic oils and organic solvents.
An integrated single-turn encoder with the EnDat 2.1 interface in the MSK101D-0200-NN-S2-BP0-RNNN records its absolute, indirect position within one mechanical rotation. It functions with the optical measurement method and replaces the use of separate incremental encoders with this motor. This encoder’s system accuracy is ±20 angular seconds, and it has a data storage feature where information like the motor type name and control loop parameters are filed. The motor’s cooling is achieved via natural convection, where the heat is transferred to the ambient air via convection. Its maximum speed is 3,400 revolutions per minute, while its maximum torque is 160.0Nm. To ensure a non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero backlash, the MSK model is equipped with a plain output shaft with a shaft sealing ring.
