Product Description
Bosch Rexroth created the MSK servo motors to solve a wide range of automation challenges. Their compact build, high torque density, and precise encoder systems make them unique. They are also highly flexible, making them useful for applications beyond regular servo motor standards. The motors are used in metal-forming machines, machine tools, and robotics.
The MSK101D-0200-NN-S2-BG0-RSNN is a Bosch Rexroth synchronous servo motor in the MSK series. It has a sealed housing with an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65 according to EN 60529, which means that it is dust-proof, touch-proof, and safe from water jet sprays. Hence, it can be safely operated under poor environmental conditions. This housing is also covered with a varnish that consists of a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water. The coat displays high-level resistance to current mineral oils, dilute acids, alkaline solutions, sewage, and seawater. It is also slightly resistant to hydraulic oils and organic solvents. This MSK model has four pole pairs and can reach a maximum speed of 3,400 revolutions per minute.
Built as a self-cooling motor, the MSK101D-0200-NN-S2-BG0-RSNN is cooled by natural convection. It involves the transfer of heat from the motor to the ambient air and the machine construction. Its output shaft is a plain one with a shaft sealing designed according to DIN 3760 – design A. This shaft provides a non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero backlash and reduces noise generated during the motor’s operation. There are two independent temperature monitoring systems in this model, one of which is the temperature sensor. It consists of a KTY84 thermal sensor built into the stator to alert users at specified threshold temperatures.
