Product Description
Flexibility is one feature of the MSK synchronous servo motors by Bosch Rexroth that makes it suitable for applications beyond regular servo motor applications. They are compact motors with high torque density used as rotary main and servo drive motors. Their common applications include machine tools, metal forming machines, robotics, and printing and paper processing machines.
The MSK101D-0200-NN-S2-BG0-RNNN is a synchronous servo motor of the MSK series designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It has four pole pairs and a single-turn encoder with the EnDat 2.1 interface. This encoder detects the motor’s absolute, indirect position within one mechanical rotation. It also features a data memory that stores useful information like the motor type name and its control loop parameters. Hence, its start-up is accelerated, and it can adapt to its drive controller without the risk of damage. The safe operation of this MSK model under poor environments is possible due to its sealed housing with an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65 per EN 60529. This means it is touch-proof, dust-proof, and impermeable to water jet sprays.
Two independent temperature monitoring systems protect the MSK101D-0200-NN-S2-BG0-RNNN from damage due to thermal overload. The thermal sensor is one of these systems, and it consists of a KTY84 thermal sensor built into the motor stator, while the other is the temperature model. Heat elimination from the motor is via natural convection, which works by releasing the heat to the ambient and the machine construction. Its output shaft is plain with a shaft sealing ring, and it provides a non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero backlash and noiseless operation. The shaft sealing ring is designed in line with DIN 3760 – design A.
