Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s Indradyn S servo motors are dynamic and powerful servo motors meeting needs in the motion and drive industry. The MSK synchronous motor series belongs to this family. These motors have high torque density, wide power spectrum, and impressive precision, all in a compact package. They are designed to be used as rotary main and servo drive motors. Their typical areas of application include machine tools, printing and paper processing machines, packaging and food processing machines, metal forming machines, and robotics.
For effective speed control and positioning of the motor by drive controllers, the MSK101D-0200-NN-S2-AG0-RNAN features an integrated encoder system. Its encoder is the singleturn optical encoder with an EnDat 2.1 interface and a system accuracy of ±20 angular seconds. With this encoder, the absolute indirect position of the motor is recorded within one mechanical motor rotation. It has an inbuilt data memory for storing the motor's parameters and ensuring its quick startup. This motor is equipped with a plain shaft with a shaft sealing ring that ensures quiet running and zero backlash.
The MSK101D-0200-NN-S2-AG0-RNAN is combined with IndraDrive control units to create a high-performance drive system. It is self-cooling with heat dissipation achieved via natural convection to the ambient air and heat conduction into the machine structure. Its temperature is monitored by two independent systems, the temperature sensor, and the temperature model. Both ensure that the motor is not damaged by thermal overload. Also, the motor belongs to Insulation Class F and thus has high thermal stability. It has a protection class of IP 65, which means it is completely protected against shock, dust penetration, and damage by multidirectional water jet sprays.
