Product Description
Similar to other components of the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system, the MSK servo motors are state-of-the-art drive units. They are synchronous servo motors with narrow size increments and a wide power spectrum. Common applications of these motors include robotics, machine tools, and food processing and packaging machines.
The MSK101D-0200-NN-S1-LG2-NNNN is a Bosch Rexroth MSK model with a maximum torque of 160.0Nm and a maximum speed of 3,400 rpm. Its compact build gives it a high torque density and facilitates its simple installation. Like other servo motors in the MSK series, it has two independent systems that monitor its temperature: the temperature model and the temperature sensor. The sensor is the KTY84 type and works with threshold values of 140°C and 150°C. This MSK motor is cooled via natural convection by the transfer of heat to the ambient air and the outside walls of the machine construction. It has four pole pairs and a rotor moment of inertia of 0.00932 kgm2.
Another protective feature of the MSK101D-0200-NN-S1-LG2-NNNN is its housing coat, which consists of a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water. This makes it resistant to sewage, seawater, current mineral oils, and alkaline solutions. The coat offers limited resistance to hydraulic oils and organic solvents. According to EN 60529, the sealed housing of this servo motor has an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65. This indicates that it is touch-proof, dust-proof, and safe from the penetration of water jet sprays. It also has a single-turn optical encoder with Hiperface that detects its absolute, indirect position within one mechanical rotation. The encoder’s system accuracy is ±80 angular seconds.
