Product Description
Some of the distinctive features of the MSK servo motors designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth are high torque density, precise encoder systems, and compact build. They are powerful motors built to serve as rotary main and servo drive motors. Typically, they are used in machine tools, robotics, and metal-forming machines.
The MSK101D-0200-NN-S1-BP3-NNNN is a synchronous servo motor in the MSK series by Bosch Rexroth. Its optical single-turn encoder with Hiperface has a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds. It evaluates the servo motor’s absolute, indirect position within one mechanical motor rotation. This encoder also aids its rapid startup and safe adaptation to the drive controller as it stores parameters like its type name and control loop parameters. The servo motor has four pole pairs and can reach a maximum speed of 3,400 revolutions per minute. It is cooled by natural convection, transferring heat generated during its operation to the ambient air and the machine construction. This model also comes fitted with an electrically released holding brake of 120Nm holding torque to hold the axes at a standstill when switched off.
Like other MSK motors, the bearing lifetime of the MSK101D-0200-NN-S1-BP3-NNNN is 30,000 operating hours. It uses an output shaft with a keyway per DIN 6885-1 to ensure form-fitting torque transmission and is equipped with a shaft sealing ring. This sealing ring conforms to DIN 3760 – design A and prevents fluid from penetrating the motor through the shaft. Two integrated temperature monitoring systems have also been built into this MSK motor to protect it from damage by thermal overload: the temperature sensor and temperature model. Its Ingress Protection rating, according to EN 60529, is IP 65.
