Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s MSK servo motors fit different kinds of industrial applications, including machine tools, metal forming machines, robotics, and food packaging and processing machines. They can easily be distinguished by their compact build, precise optical encoder systems, and high torque density. They also allow additional options, enhancing their versatility.
The MSK101D-0200-NN-S1-BP2-NNNN is a servo motor in the MSK series by Bosch Rexroth. Its cooling is via natural convection, a mechanism where heat removal from the system is due to the temperature difference between the motor and the ambient air. It also has a thermal sensor of the KTY84 type that alerts users when the motor reaches potentially harmful threshold temperatures. This thermal sensor works with the temperature model, another independent temperature monitoring system in the motor. Based on the EN 60529 standard, this MSK motor’s sealed housing has an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65. This is because it is protected against dust ingress and the penetration of water sprayed at it from different directions.
To ensure precise position detection and speed control, the MSK101D-0200-NN-S1-BP2-NNNN is equipped with an optical single-turn encoder with the Hiperface interface. This encoder records the absolute, indirect position of the servo motor within one mechanical motor rotation. It has a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds. The output shaft of the motor is the type with a keyway per DIN 6885-1 and a shaft sealing ring designed according to DIN 3760 – design A. It ensures form-fitting torque transmission while the sealing ring prevents liquids from entering the motor through the shaft. Environmental conditions required for the motor’s optimal operation are a maximum ambient temperature of 40oC and relative air humidity of 95%.
