Product Description
For Bosch Rexroth, excellence is non-negotiable, especially as regards the design and manufacture of its drive and motion control units. Its MSK servo motors are compact components of the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system with precise encoder systems and high torque density.
The MSK101C-0300-FN-S1-AP0-NNNN is one of Bosch Rexroth’s MSK synchronous servo motors. It is a maintenance-free motor with an integrated single-turn encoder with the Hiperface interface and system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds. This encoder’s measuring principle is optical; hence, it works with high-level precision. It also has a data memory where information like the motor type name and control loop parameters are stored, promoting the motor’s rapid startup and risk-free adaptation to the drive controller. To protect it from irreversible damage due to thermal overload, the servo motor is fitted with a thermal sensor in its stator. This KTY84 thermal sensor works with another temperature monitoring system called the temperature model.
Heat is eliminated from the MSK101C-0300-FN-S1-AP0-NNNN via a liquid cooling system. It involves a coolant which absorbs the heat and is released via a downstream heat exchanger to the ambient air. The cooling method supports the motor’s use for extreme loads like continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates. Its maximum speed is 4,500 revolutions per minute, and it has four pole pairs. It also accommodates a maximum current of 84.2A. Based on the EN 60529 guidelines, the Ingress Protection rating of the MSK motor is IP 65 since it does not permit the penetration of solid extrinsic materials and water jets from different directions. Its sealed housing also allows its use in harsh environmental conditions without the risk of damage.
