Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s MSK servo motors have a wide performance range that can be supplemented with several functional options. Their flexibility is one reason why they can be used for applications beyond the standard for servo motors. Typical applications of the MSK servo motors include food processing and packaging machines, metal forming machines, and robotics.
The MSK101C-0300-FN-S1-AG0-NNNN is an MSK synchronous servo motor with a maximum speed of 4,500 revolutions per minute. It is cooled by liquid cooling, where the heat generated during its operation is absorbed by a coolant and released via a downstream heat exchanger to the ambient air. This cooling mechanism also makes it suitable for extreme loads like continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates. The maintenance-free motor has four pole pairs and generates a maximum torque of 110.0Nm. Its housing is sealed and prevents the entry of solid external materials and water jets sprayed from different directions. As a result, its Ingress Protection rating, according to EN 60529 is IP 65.
Position detection and speed control in the MSK101C-0300-FN-S1-AG0-NNNN is carried out by an integrated single-turn encoder with the Hiperface interface. The encoder has a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds and uses the optical measurement method, guaranteeing high-level precision. This MSK model is equipped with a plain output shaft that provides a non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero backlash. The shaft has a shaft sealing ring designed per DIN 3760 – design A to prevent fluid entry through the shaft. To prevent irreversible damage due to thermal overload, the servo motor features a KTY84 thermal sensor built into its stator. It also has the temperature model, another independent temperature monitoring system.
