Product Description
Bosch Rexroth has built a reputation for reliability with its consistent delivery of state-of-the-art drive and motion control units. It is the designer of the compact and flexible MSK servo motors with precise encoder systems and high torque density.
The MSK101C-0300-FN-M1-BG0-NNNN is one of the synchronous servo motors of the MSK series designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It is a liquid-cooled type that permits extreme loads like continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates. Its cooling mechanism involves a coolant released via a downstream heat exchanger to the ambient air. The motor is equipped with a KTY84 thermal sensor in its stator to monitor its temperature and prevent damage due to thermal overload. This sensor triggers warnings at threshold values of 140°C and 150°C. With the motor’s sealed housing, it can be safely operated under adverse environmental conditions. Its Ingress Protection rating per EN 60529 is IP 65 since it is dustproof, touch-proof, and impervious to water jets.
Thanks to the coating of the MSK101C-0300-FN-M1-BG0-NNNN, it is resistant to seawater, sewage, current mineral oils, dilute acid, and alkaline solutions. The coating consists of a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water. It also displays limited resistance to organic solvents and hydraulic oil. This MSK model features an optical encoder with the multiturn configuration and Hiperface interface for monitoring its position. The encoder has a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds and replaces separate absolute value encoders. It also has a data memory that quickens the motor’s startup and aids its safe adaptation to its drive controller. Its output shaft is the plain type for a non-positive, zero-backlash shaft-hub connection.
