Product Description
Bosch Rexroth is known for creating products that meet diverse user needs in the automation industry. Its compact MSK servo motors are flexible motors with high torque density and precise encoder systems. They are used in robotics, metal forming machines, machine tools, and food processing and packaging machines.
The MSK101C-0300-FN-M1-AP2-NNNN is a model of the MSK synchronous servo motors designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It features a multiturn encoder with the Hiperface interface and a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds for position detection and speed control. This encoder uses the optical measurement method to deliver excellent precision and records the motor’s absolute, indirect position within 4,096 mechanical motor rotations. It also eliminates the need for a separate absolute value encoder and preserves the absolute position even after a switch-off. The motor’s maximum speed is 4,500 revolutions per minute and it tolerates a maximum current of 84.2A. It has four pole pairs and a rotor moment of inertia of 0.00650 kgm2.
Heat elimination from the MSK101C-0300-FN-M1-AP2-NNNN is achieved via liquid cooling. Hence, it supports extreme loads like start-stop operations with high repetition rates. It is also equipped with an output shaft with keyway per DIN 6885-1 and a shaft sealing ring designed in line with DIN 3760 – design A. Based on the EN 60529 guidelines, the MSK motor belongs to the IP 65 protection category, indicating that it is touch-proof, dustproof, and safe from multidirectional water jet sprays. It is protected from damage due to thermal overload by a thermal sensor of the KTY84 type built into its stator windings. Another temperature monitoring system involved in this process is the temperature model.
