Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s MSK servo motors are built with a compact size, high torque density, and precise encoder systems. They are flexible and support diverse applications with the addition of IndraDrive control units. Their applications include handling and mounting systems, machine tools, and food packaging machines.
The MSK101C-0202-NN-S3-FG0-NPNN is a synchronous servo motor in the MSK series equipped with a plain output shaft. This shaft provides a non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero backlash and ensures quiet running. It also has a standard shaft sealing ring designed per DIN 3760 – design A to prevent fluids from entering the motor through the shaft. Clamps, clamping sets, clamping sleeves, or clamping elements can be used to couple the machine elements to be driven. The servo motor also features an integrated single-turn encoder that functions with high-level precision since it uses the optical measurement method. This encoder comes with the Hiperface interface and data memory that stores the motor type name and control loop parameters. It ensures that the motor’s startup is rapid and that it can adjust safely to its drive controller.
A KTY84 thermal sensor is built into the stator of the MSK101C-0202-NN-S3-FG0-NPNN to protect it from damage caused by excessively high temperatures. The sensor and the temperature model, an independent temperature monitoring system, perform this function. This MSK model is cooled via natural convection; hence, it is described as a self-cooling motor. It can also be operated maintenance-free. Its Ingress Protection rating is IP 65 in line with EN 60529, indicating that it is touch-proof, dustproof and impermeable to multidirectional water jet sprays. The sealed housing design also allows it to be safely used under harsh environmental conditions.
