Product Description
There are many distinguishing features found in the MSK servo motors by Bosch Rexroth. These include compact size, high torque density and encoder systems that support a wide and diverse range of applications. The servo motors come with different frame sizes and can achieve varying speeds.
The MSK101C-0202-NN-S3-FB0-NPNN is a model of the synchronous servo motors in the MSK series designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It is a self-cooling motor, which utilizes natural convection for the elimination of heat. This cooling mechanism involves the continuous exchange of heat with the ambient air to prevent overload. Two temperature monitoring systems: the temperature model and temperature sensor, are also present in the motor to prevent damage due to thermal overload. The temperature sensor is the KTY84 type, and it is built into the motor stator. Based on the EN 60529 guidelines, the Ingress Protection rating of the MSK motor is IP 65. This is because its housing is sealed and does not permit the entry of solid extrinsic materials and multidirectional water jets.
An integrated optical encoder with the single-turn configuration and Hiperface interface detects the position of the MSK101C-0202-NN-S3-FB0-NPNN. Since it uses the optical measurement method, high-level precision is guaranteed. The encoder also has a data memory where it stores information like the motor type name and control loop parameters. As a result, its startup is rapid and it can adjust risk-free to the drive controller. Like other MSK motors, this model’s varnish consists of a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water. Hence, it displays high chemical resistance to current mineral oils, sewage, seawater, dilute acids, and alkaline solutions.
