Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s products never fail to stand out among others in the general automation industry. The company’s MSK motors are synchronous servo motors with impressive and precise encoder systems and high torque density. They are self-cooling motors supporting maintenance-free operation.
The MSK101C-0202-NN-S1-AG0-NPNN is a Bosch Rexroth servo motor in the MSK series cooled by natural convection. It features two temperature monitoring systems: the temperature model and temperature sensor, built into its stator. Together, they protect the motor from damage due to thermal overload. This MSK model uses a single-turn optical encoder with the Hiperface interface for position detection and speed control. The encoder records its absolute, indirect position recording within one mechanical rotation and eliminates the need for another incremental encoder. It also has a data memory for storing parameters like the motor type name and control loop parameters. This accelerates the motor’s startup and aids its safe adaptation to its drive controller.
Like other MSK servo motors, the housing of the MSK101C-0202-NN-S1-AG0-NPNN is sealed and impervious to solid external objects and multidirectional water jets. Hence, its Ingress Protection rating according to EN 60529 is IP 65. It is also coated with a varnish that consists of a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water. This varnish is highly resistant to dilute acids, alkaline solutions, current mineral oils, seawater and sewage. The motor is fitted with a plain output shaft to provide a non-positive, shaft-hub connection with zero backlash. This shaft has a sealing ring designed per DIN 3760 – design A to prevent fluids from entering through the shaft. It should be operated at a maximum ambient temperature of 40oC.
