Product Description
In the bid to solve automation challenges easily, Bosch Rexroth constantly creates excellent drive and motion control units. Its MSK servo motors support applications beyond the usual for regular servo motors due to their flexibility. They also have a compact build, precise encoder systems, and high torque density.
The MSK101C-0200-NN-M2-AP0-RNNN is a model of Bosch Rexroth’s MSK synchronous servo motors. It features two temperature monitoring systems: the temperature model and the temperature sensor. Though independent, these systems protect the motor from irreversible damage due to thermal overload. The thermal sensor is the KTY84 type, and it is built into its stator. A black prime varnish consisting of a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water also protects the motor. It is resistant to current mineral oils, dilute acids and alkaline solutions, sewage, and water. This coat also displays limited resistance to organic solvents and hydraulic oil. With the motor’s sealed housing, it can be operated risk-free under harsh environmental conditions.
Position detection and speed control in the MSK101C-0200-NN-M2-AP0-RNNN is achieved via a multiturn absolute encoder with the EnDat 2.1 interface. The encoder uses the optical measuring principle and has a system accuracy of ±20 angular seconds. It also has a data memory that stores the motor type name and control loop parameters. Hence, the motor’s startup is rapid, and it can adapt safely to its drive controller. Heat elimination from this MSK model is via natural convection to the ambient air and heat conduction onto the machine construction. Its Ingress Protection rating is IP 65 per EN 60529 since it is touch-proof, dustproof, and impervious to water jet sprays.
