Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s drive and motion control units are built as cost-efficient solutions for different automation challenges. They include servo motors like those in the MSK series. These synchronous servo motors are used in robotics, machine tools, food packaging and processing machines, and metal forming machines.
The MSK101C-0200-NN-M2-AG0-RNNN is an MSK model whose shaft is the plain type and provides a non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero backlash. Like other models in this series, the shaft has a sealing ring to prevent fluids from penetrating the motor through the shaft. Its integrated encoder has the multiturn configuration with the EnDat 2.1 interface and uses the optical measurement method for position detection. The encoder evaluates the motor’s absolute, indirect position within 4,096 mechanical rotations. It also eliminates the need for a separate absolute value encoder and has a system accuracy of ±20 angular seconds. Its data memory stores information like the motor type name and control loop parameters, accelerating the motor’s startup and ensuring its risk-free adaptation to the drive controller.
According to EN 60529, the Ingress Protection rating of the MSK101C-0200-NN-M2-AG0-RNNN is IP 65. This indicates that the motor is dustproof, touch-proof, and impervious to water jets sprayed at it from different directions. It also allows the motor to be safely operated under harsh environmental conditions. The maximum speed of this MSK model is 3,300 revolutions per minute, and it has four pole pairs. It can generate a maximum torque of 110.0Nm and has a rotor with a moment of inertia of 0.00650 kgm2. This servo motor features a KTY84 thermal sensor built into its stator to prevent irreversible damage due to thermal overload.
