Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s MSK synchronous servo motors are proof of the company’s brilliance as regards the creation of future-proof drive and motion control products. These high-performance servo motors are used in machine tools, robotics, food packaging and processing machines, and paper processing and printing machines.
The MSK101C-0200-NN-M1-BP2-NNNN is one of the compact synchronous servo motors in the MSK series designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It is fitted with a holding brake of 70Nm holding torque to hold the axes at a standstill when the machine is disconnected from power. This model also has an output shaft with keyway per DIN 6885-1 to provide the form-fitting transmission of torques with constant direction and low requirements for the shaft-hub connection. Its shaft sealing ring corresponds to DIN 3760 – design A and prevents fluids from entering the motor through the shaft. The Ingress Protection rating of this MSK model is IP 65, in line with DIN 60529, as it is completely sealed, making it touchproof and dustproof. It is also safe from the penetration of water jets sprayed at it from different directions.
Equipped with an integrated multiturn absolute encoder with the Hiperface interface, there is no need for a separate absolute value encoder with the MSK101C-0200-NN-M1-BP2-NNNN. This encoder evaluates the motor’s absolute, indirect position within 4,096 mechanical rotations with a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds. It also provides remarkable precision as it uses the optical measuring method. In addition, it has a data memory where the motor type name and control loop parameters are stored. The maximum speed attainable by this MSK motor is 3,300 revolutions per minute, while its rotor’s moment of inertia is 0.00650 kgm2.
