Product Description
With its impressive portfolio of functional products, including servo motors and drive converters, Bosch Rexroth is a distinct brand in the drive market. Its MSK synchronous motors are compact units with applications like robotics, machine tools, and metal forming machines.
The MSK101C-0200-NN-M1-BG2-NNNN is a servo motor in the MSK series designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It uses a multiturn absolute encoder with the Hiperface interface for detecting its position. This encoder records its absolute, indirect position within 4,096 mechanical motor rotations. It also retains the absolute position of the axis even after a switch-off and replaces the use of separate absolute value encoders. The system accuracy of this encoder is ±80 angular seconds, while its measuring principle is optical, guaranteeing high-level precision. To obtain a non-positive, shaft-hub connection with zero-backlash, this MSK model is equipped with a plain output shaft with a shaft sealing ring. The shaft sealing ring is designed according to DIN 3760 – design A.
Operating the MSK101C-0200-NN-M1-BG2-NNNN risk-free under harsh environmental conditions is permissible due to its sealed housing design. Its Ingress Protection rating is IP 65 according to EN 60529, indicating its resistance to penetration by solid external materials and multidirectional water jet sprays. This housing is also coated with a varnish consisting of a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water. Hence, it is highly resistant to sewage, current mineral oils, water, dilute acids, and alkaline solutions. The coat also displays a measure of resistance to organic solvents and hydraulic oil. Cooling is achieved via natural convection in the servo motor, and it is fitted with a holding brake of 70Nm holding torque.
