Product Description
Many users of Bosch Rexroth’s drive and motion control products choose the brand because of its reliability. Its state-of-the-art MSK motors are compact servo motors with diverse applications. These include food and packaging machines, robotics, machine tools, and metal-forming machines.
The MSK101C-0200-FN-M1-AP0-NNNN is a synchronous servo motor in Bosch Rexroth’s MSK series. It uses a liquid cooling system for heat dissipation, where the heat generated during its operation is absorbed by a coolant. This coolant is then released via a downstream heat exchanger to the ambient air. Because of the cooling mechanism, the motor supports extreme loads like continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates. It is fitted with a multiturn encoder with the Hiperface interface for detecting its absolute, indirect position within 4,096 mechanical motor rotations. The encoder uses the optical measurement method; hence, high-level precision is guaranteed. It also has a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds and replaces the function of separate absolute value encoders.
According to EN 60529, the MSK101C-0200-FN-M1-AP0-NNNN belongs to the IP 65 Ingress Protection category. This is because it is touch-proof, dustproof, and safe from the penetration of water jets sprayed from different directions. Its housing is sealed and allows its operation under adverse environmental conditions. The output shaft of this MSK model is one with keyway according to DIN 6885-1 and a shaft sealing ring designed in line with DIN 3760 – design A. Two temperature monitoring systems protect it from irreversible damage due to thermal overload. They are the KTY84 thermal sensor built into its thermal sensor and the temperature model. The maximum ambient temperature required for its operation is 40oC, while its maximum installation height is 1,000m.
