Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s MSK servo motors support user-specific applications thanks to their flexibility. They are compact synchronous motors with precise encoders and high torque density. They are commonly used in robotics, metal-forming machines, food processing and packaging machines, and printing and paper processing machines.
The MSK100D-0350-NN-S3-LP2-NNNN is a Bosch Rexroth MSK motor with four pole pairs. It is cooled via natural convection, where heat exchange with the ambient air occurs along a temperature gradient. Heat is also transferred to the machine construction by conduction. There are two temperature monitoring systems that monitor its temperature and prevent damage due to thermal overload: the temperature sensor and the temperature model. The temperature sensor is the KTY84 type built into the stator, and it works with threshold values of 140°C and 150°C. With the motor’s sealed housing, it can be operated under harsh environmental conditions without the risk of damage. It also has an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65 according to EN 60529, indicating that it is impervious to solid extrinsic objects and multidirectional water jet sprays.
A varnish consisting of a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water coats the MSK100D-0350-NN-S3-LP2-NNNN. It protects it from current mineral oils, water, sewage, dilute acids, and alkaline solutions. The varnish also displays limited resistance to organic solvents and hydraulic solvents. This MSK model is equipped with a shaft with keyway per DIN 6885-1 and a shaft sealing ring designed in line with DIN 3760 – design A. It can reach a maximum speed of 3,000 revolutions per minute and generate a maximum torque of 185.0Nm. The recommended maximum height for its installation is 1,000m.
