Product Description
Some of the applications of the MSK servo motors by Bosch Rexroth are robotics, printing and paper processing machines, and metal-forming machines. The synchronous servo motors, which are part of the IndraDrive drive system, have a compact build and precise encoder systems.
The MSK100D-0350-NN-S2-BP0-RNNN is a servo motor of the MSK series designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It has a single-turn encoder with the EnDat 2.1 interface, which uses the optical measurement method to record the motor’s absolute, indirect position within one mechanical motor rotation. The encoder replaces the need for a separate incremental encoder and stores parameters like the motor type name and control loop parameters in its data memory. This ensures that the motor’s startup time is reduced and it can adjust to its drive controller without the risk of damage. The output shaft in the MSK model is the type with keyway according to DIN 6885-1. It comes with a shaft sealing ring designed according to DIN 3760 – design A.
To allow its safe use in adverse environmental conditions, the MSK100D-0350-NN-S2-BP0-RNNN is built with a sealed housing. The housing is coated with a varnish consisting of a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water. It displays high chemical resistance to water, sewage, current mineral oils, dilute acids, and alkaline solutions. This housing also has an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65 in line with EN 60529, indicating that it is touch-proof, dustproof, and safe from water jet sprays. The MSK servo motor has four pole pairs and can attain a maximum speed of 3,000 revolutions per minute. It also generates a maximum torque of 185.0Nm.
