Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s MSK motors are compact units used as rotary main and servo drive motors in different applications. These include robotics, metal-forming machines, packaging and food processing machines, and printing and paper processing machines. The servo motors are components of the IndraDrive system.
The MSK100D-0350-NN-S2-AP0-RNNN is one of the synchronous servo motors of the MSK series designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It features a single-turn encoder with the EnDat 2.1 interface, which uses the optical measurement method to achieve a high level of precision. This encoder records its absolute, indirect position within one mechanical motor rotation and replaces the function of separate incremental encoders. It also has a data memory that stores the motor type name and control loop parameters so that the motor’s startup is accelerated and it can adjust safely to its drive controller. Its system accuracy is ±20 angular seconds. The moment of inertia of the motor’s rotor is 0.03500 kgm2, and it has four pole pairs.
To ensure form-fitting torque transmission, the MSK100D-0350-NN-S2-AP0-RNNN is fitted with an output shaft with keyway per DIN 6885-1. Like other motors in the series, it also has a shaft sealing ring designed according to DIN 3760 – design A to prevent fluid penetration through the shaft. The motor’s sealed housing allows its safe use in adverse environmental conditions as it is dustproof, touch-proof, and impervious to water jets from different directions. As a result, its Ingress Protection rating is IP 65, in line with EN 60529. Its housing varnish consists of a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water with chemical resistance against sewage, water, and current mineral oils.
