Product Description
Bosch Rexroth is rightly acknowledged as an expert designer of top-notch drive and motion control products such as the MSK servo motors. These powerful motors have a compact construction, precise encoder systems, and high torque density. They also display high operational reliability.
The MSK100D-0350-NN-S2-AG0-RNNN is one of the servo motors in Bosch Rexroth’s MSK series. It has a single-turn encoder with the EnDat 2.1 interface for the recording of its absolute, indirect position within one mechanical motor rotation. This optical encoder works with high-level precision and eliminates the need for separate incremental encoders. It has a system accuracy of ±20 angular seconds and a data memory where the motor’s parameters are stored. They are set on startup, reducing the time required for bootup and aiding the motor’s safe adjustment to its drive controller. The MSK motor’s maximum speed is 3,000 revolutions per minute, while its maximum torque of 185.0Nm. Its rotor’s moment of inertia is 0.03500 kgm2.
A plain output shaft is built into the MSK100D-0350-NN-S2-AG0-RNNN to provide a non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero backlash. It has a shaft sealing ring designed per DIN 3760 – design A to prevent fluids from entering the motor through the shaft. Like other MSK motors, this model is equipped with two temperature monitoring systems: the temperature model and the temperature sensor. Its sensor is the KTY84 type and is located in the stator windings. The motor also has four pole pairs and an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65, according to EN 60529. Hence, it can be operated safely in harsh environmental conditions. The ambient temperature range required for this MSK model’s operation is 0°C to 40°C.
