Product Description
Bosch Rexroth created the MSK servo motors with a wide power spectrum and narrow size increments. These synchronous servo motors also have a particularly compact design and high torque density. Their typical applications include robotics, metal-forming machines, and machine tools.
The MSK100D-0350-NN-S1-BG0-NNNN is a model of the synchronous servo motors in the MSK series by Bosch Rexroth. It is equipped with a plain shaft and a shaft sealing ring designed per DIN 3760 – design A. This shaft type provides a non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero backlash and quiet running, while its shaft prevents fluid penetration. The servo motor’s integrated encoder is a single-turn encoder with the Hiperface interface, using the optical method to achieve high-level precision. It has a system accuracy of ±80 angular seconds and a data memory where relevant parameters are stored to reduce the motor’s startup time. This encoder also records the absolute, indirect position within one mechanical motor rotation and eliminates the need for a separate incremental encoder.
Designed with a sealed housing that is impervious to solid external materials and water jet sprays, the MSK100D-0350-NN-S1-BG0-NNNN has an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65 according to EN 60529. This means that it can be operated under harsh environmental conditions without the risk of damage. The motor’s coating consists of a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy resin coating based on epoxy polyamide resin in water; hence, it is highly resistant to water, sewage, seawater, current mineral oils, dilute acids, and alkaline solutions. It also displays limited resistance to organic solvents and hydraulic oils. This MSK model reaches a maximum speed of 3,000 revolutions per minute and generates a maximum torque of 185.0Nm.
